ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (September 25, 2023) – Guests are invited to an action-packed day at Resorts Casino Hotel on Saturday, September 30th! Featured events include the Balls Out Block Party featuring the Cheesesteak Egg Roll Bowl, a ribbon cutting to celebrate the new menu at DraftKings Sportsbook at Resorts and the opening of The Boo Bar.
Balls Out Block PartyThe boardwalk and beach will be activated from 11:30am – 5:30pm for the Balls Out Block Party! Festivities include live entertainment by Bacardi Ardi and Sidestory Cover Band, an ESPN Radio Remote and a dunk tank. Throughout the party, guests with a valid Star Card will have an opportunity to participate in a number of challenges with over $1,000 in Slot Cash and DraftKings Sportsbook at Resorts Food Credit prizes up for grabs; challenges include Mug Hoisting, 2-Minute Football Drill, Football Accuracy and Longest Football Throw.

The main event at the Balls Out Block Party is the Cheesesteak Egg Roll Bowl! Twelve eaters, including the world’s most famous professional eater, Joey Chestnut, will have eight minutes to devour as many cheesesteak egg rolls as possible in the newest addition to Major League Eating’s 2023 slate of sanctioned competitions. The stakes are high for the eaters, who seek a first-ever cheesesteak egg roll title and $5,000 in cash prizes. Contests for the Cheesesteak Egg Roll Bowl include: #1 Pro Eater Joey Chestnut, #4 Nick Wehry, #6 Gideon Oji, #12 Darrien Thomas, #21 George Chiger, #26 Eric “Badlands” Booker, #45 Rene Rovtar, #46 William Myers, #48 Alex Moose Perez, #50 Michael Deitz, Peter Ritter and Nicholas Bard. This event is free to attend and open to the public. The cheesesteak egg rolls being used for the competition are one of the many new menu options being offered at DraftKings Sportsbook at Resorts.

New Halloween Themed Pop-Up Bar located at Bar One
Resorts Casino Hotel’s new Halloween inspired pop-up bar, The Boo Bar, promises to be a scary good time! Drink specials include The Raven Cocktail, Good & Evil and a Perfect Pink Cosmo. All proceeds from the Perfect Pink Cosmo benefit the American Cancer Society Real Men Wear Pink Campaign.
