Resorts Casino Hotel announced its official summer launch party will take place on Friday, May 22. Summer officially begins when 5,000 beach balls rain down on the Atlantic City Boardwalk in front of Resorts during the 12th Annual Beach Ball Drop!

Resorts’ 12th Annual Beach Ball Drop features free live entertainment starting at noon. This includes the annual Opening of the Sea Ceremony with Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small, Jr., contests, prizes, giveaways, and cover band Sidestory. At 5PM, 5,000 beach balls will drop onto the boardwalk and guests below to say hello to summer in style.

The Beach Ball drop takes place annually in front of Resorts to celebrate the official start of summer at the shore.
