ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (May 12, 2022) – Who’s ready for warm weather and long sunny days? Resorts Casino Hotel is ready to welcome Hot Summer Fun 2022 with a Memorial Day Weekend lineup not to be missed! Celebrations start Friday, May 27th with the return of the Annual Beach Ball Drop, joined by exciting giveaways, slot tournaments, live music and more. One lucky guest will also win a 2022 Jeep Wrangler!
Five thousand beach balls will be suspended over the boardwalk and then released on the crowd below as part of Resorts’ Annual Beach Ball Drop on Friday, May 27th! WMMR will be live on location from 9:00am to 2:00pm. Bicardi Ardi, the party starter, will start the boardwalk activations at 1:00pm with action-packed activities, games, entertainment, and even a mermaid photo opportunity. At 5:00pm, guests can take in the main event when the beach balls drop! Following the beach ball madness, live entertainment is set to kick off at LandShark Bar & Grill. Guests can also earn 10X cashback (for slot play only) from 5:00pm to 8:00 pm!
On hand for the early festivities will also be AC Mayor, Marty Small Sr., who will deliver remarks during the Annual Opening of the Sea Ceremony, which begins at 1:00pm.

On Saturday, May 28th, the fun continues with the Boogie Wonder Band! Wear your dancing shoes and relive the glitz and glamour from the 1970s. This ten-member neo disco/funk band covers classic hits such as “Disco Inferno,” “That’s the Way I Like It,” “I Will Survive,” “It’s Raining Men,” and much more. Hailing from Montreal and known as one of Canada’s best party bands they will be hitting the Superstar Theater stage at 8:00pm. Ticket prices range from $35.00 to $55.00 and are on sale via ticketmaster.com.
On Sunday, May 29th, one very lucky guest will cruise away in a new ride, courtesy of Resorts Casino Hotel’s 2022 Jeep Wrangler Sweepstakes. Guests can enter by playing their favorite slot or table game while using their Star Card. Entries will be accepted until 3:55pm. The winner will be drawn at 4:00pm and will have 15 minutes to claim their prize.
Beginning Monday, May 30th LandShark Bar & Grill and Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville will feature live music every night, creating the perfect backdrop for some of the most relaxing and fun experiences to be had in Atlantic City all summer long!
Additionally, Bar One, located on the casino floor, will be transformed into an under-the-sea destination, called Coral Lounge, where guests can relax and sip on delicious and creative cocktails all summer long. The pop-up will be open 7 days a week through Labor Day and will feature a live DJ every weekend. The outside of the bar will be wrapped and draped like an underwater abyss and once inside you’ll be made to feel like you’re in a coral reef with an occasional mermaid sighting.
