Resorts Casino Hotel in Atlantic City is Set to Host One of Tony Orlando’s Final Concerts Ever on Saturday, March 16th

resortsac.comATLANTIC CITY, NJ (January 8, 2024) – American Pop legend Tony Orlando is set to headline the Superstar Theater at Resorts Casino Hotel for one of the final shows of his career. Known for multiple platinum-selling albums and no shortage of Top 40 hits like “Tie a Yellow Ribbon,” fans can join this momentous occasion on Saturday, March 16th at 8:00pm. Tickets are $75, $65 and $55 and will be on sale via ticketmaster.com. This special performance at Resorts Casino Hotel comes just prior to Orlando’s final concert ever, taking place at Mohegan’s flagship property in Connecticut, Mohegan Sun.

Tony Orlando first performed at Resorts Casino Hotel on August 15th, 1983, featuring a seven-day, nine-show stretch. Since then, Orlando has returned to Resorts Casino Hotel numerous times, including a special appearance at the 6th Annual Beach Ball Drop in 2019 over Memorial Day weekend. His most recent appearance to Resorts Casino Hotel was for a performance on New Years Eve in 2021. Orlando’s handprints are prominently displayed outside the entrance of the Superstar Theater.

Tony Orlando is a Grammy-nominated artist, with 15 Top 40 hits, two platinum albums, three gold albums, and millions of copies sold. The 1973 #1 Billboard song “Tie A Yellow Ribbon” went on to become the theme song for Orlando and an anthem for hope, reunion, and rejuvenation in America. Orlando is a recipient of two American Music Awards and two People’s Choice Awards for “Best Male Entertainer”. In 1990, Tony was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame to commemorate his outstanding achievements in the entertainment industry.

Tony Orlando’s final four performances of his career will all be at Mohegan properties. Before the March 16th show at Resorts Casino Hotel, Orlando will perform on back-to-back nights at Fallsview Casino Resort on February 27th & 28th. His final show will take place at Mohegan’s flagship property, Mohegan Sun, on March 22nd.
