George Benson is respected by millions as a musician and performer, sharing his skills as an expert improviser and a vibrant entertainer. For over five decades, Benson has been known as a guitar genius and vocal sensation in the Pop, R&B and Jazz genres. His career began as a young man performing at local nightclubs in Pittsburgh, where Wes Montgomery spotted Benson’s talent and urged him to continue. Next, Benson was an apprentice with organist Brother Jack McDuff, and in 1964 released his first debut album, The New Boss Guitar, sparking his career. Being the youngest of twelve, Osborne’s childhood was influenced by many different artists and genres. He began his career at thirteen years old singing in Rhode Island nightclubs to recording his own albums with legendary producer George Duke. Duke influenced and produced Osborne’s first three solo albums, On The Wings of Love, Stay With Me Tonight, and We’re Going All The Way. Today, he attains twelve albums total and four Grammy awards.
