The Best of Broadway starring The Sharpe Family brings together husband and wife duo Barbara Russell and Ron Sharpe along with their spectacular daughter Samantha and sons Logan, Aidan, and Connor Sharpe. Barbra Russell and Ron Sharpe met on the stage of the hit Broadway show Les Misérables. After being married on stage 1000 times they decided to do it for real!
The Best of Broadway features their two grown children, a pair of identical twin boys, and three “adopted” family members (the boyfriend, the best friend, and the lovable uncle). This group has formed The Sharpe Family Singers to bring their love affair with Broadway to stages across America, from Disney on Broadway, to the Classics and Broadway Rocks, this show has something for everyone. The Modern Gentlemen “the voices behind Frankie Valli over the past decade!” The group blends the classic hits of Motown, The Four Seasons, The Beach Boys, Beatles and more in their own modern style creating the ultimate vocal experience for all ages. They’ve performed all over the world on the biggest stages, from multiple performances at Royal Albert Hall with the London Symphony Orchestra, to two stints on Broadway, and performances in Asia, Canada, Europe, Israel, Australia and New Zealand. They’ve appeared onstage with The Beach Boys, The Manhattan Transfer, and so many other notable groups as well as performed for US Presidents and Prince William at the esteemed Arts Club in London. This dynamic quartet feels very fortunate to have worked alongside many of the artists they celebrate and when The Modern Gentlemen take the stage, they bring their charm, high energy, and spot on vocals with harmonic perfection!
ABOUT THE MODERN GENTLEMEN
Individually, Landon Beard, Todd Fournier and brothers Brian and Brandon Brigham were all in-demand singers before being brought together by the legendary Frankie Valli. For well over a decade, they’ve wowed audiences worldwide as the four voices alongside the Rock & Roll icon. During their long tenure with the group, they developed their own identity. Valli saw something in them that he never found in any of the configurations of singers he’s worked with. In the studio, they finely tuned their “signature sound” to iconic Frank Sinatra hits sung in four part harmony. This discovery led to a fresh new take on the popular hits of Pop, Rock, Jazz and Doo Wop! You can currently see the gents on the PBS Special, Doo Wop Generations and their live concert tour across the nation, including headlining in Las Vegas and Atlantic City.
