Resorts Casino Hotel Set to Celebrate Jimmy Buffett with a Fins Up Tailgate Celebration

Boardwalk activities include a day full of live music, tailgate games, giveaways and much more, followed by Changes In Latitudes – America’s Premier Jimmy Buffett Tribute Show in the Superstar Theater

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (August 22, 2024) – Don’t miss the Fins Up Tailgate Celebration at Resorts Casino Hotel on Sunday, September 1st from 1:00pm – 5:00pm. The event honors Jimmy Buffett by celebrating his legacy with an afternoon on the boardwalk with music, games, Hawaiian shirts and cold drinks! Additionally, guests can head to the Superstar Theater later that evening for an unforgettable show by Changes in Latitudes, America’s Premier Jimmy Buffett Tribute Band.

The Glenn Roberts Band will be on the boardwalk beginning at 1:00pm with their Cranked Up Country attitude! Everyone is encouraged to wear their favorite Hawaiian shirts and grass skirts to the celebration to be eligible for great prizes like free tickets to the Changes in Latitudes show! Tailgate games include water pong, cornhole and hole in one putt-putt. Scotty from South Jersey’s Rock Station 100.7 WZXL, will be on location for a fun radio remote. Guests can enjoy an array of great food and beverage options just steps away at Landshark Bar & Grill and Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville.

At 8:00pm, Changes In Latitudes – America’s Premier Jimmy Buffett Tribute is set to bring a can’t-miss performance to the Superstar Theater. This nationally acclaimed band roams the country bringing their dancing conga lines and “Trop Rock” fun to every venue they play. It’s the ultimate beach party that’s good, clean fun for all ages. Changes In Latitudes has thrilled audiences with their amazingly authentic reproduction of the Jimmy Buffett concert experience. Steve Kareta mimics Jimmy’s casual storyteller style, while these world-class musicians take guests on a musical cruise around the sun-drenched tropical islands of the Caribbean. The group travels with a complete tropical stage set-up that exactly mimics Jimmy’s from years past. Guests can expect to hear such classics as “Margaritaville,” “Come Monday,” “Cheeseburger In Paradise,” “Volcano,” and “Changes In Latitudes, Changes In Attitudes,” as well as other crowd pleasing Buffett-show staples like “Brown Eyed Girl,” “Southern Cross,” and the Alan Jackson and Jimmy Buffett hit “It’s Five O’clock Somewhere.”

Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased via ticketmaster.com.

Good Vibes for Good Causes will be taking place at Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville from Wednesday, August 28th through Wednesday, September 4th. Guests can try new signature drinks in a commemorative Jimmy Buffett cup and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to Singing for a Change, a foundation started by Jimmy Buffett.
