ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (September 14, 2021) – The 12th Annual “Harry Hurley in the Morning” Charity Dinner & Silent Auction is taking place once again at The Ocean Ballroom at Resorts Casino Hotel on Friday, October 1st at 4:00pm. This event honors Tom Cantone, President of Sports & Entertainment for Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment (MGE) and who is one of the pioneers of casino entertainment booking. Cantone will make a speech at this special event as well as take part in a Q&A session that follows a gourmet dinner.
Tom Cantone, who prior to joining Mohegan Sun and leading its entertainment team in 2007, held senior entertainment roles with Sands Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City and Hershey Entertainment & Resort Co. This event, hosted by WPG Talk Radio’s Harry Hurley, is in honor of Cantone’s incredible career and contributions to the entertainment industry. In his four decade career, Cantone has booked more than 10,000 shows, concerts and sporting events that include the likes of Eddie Murphy, Billy Crystal, Prince, The Eagles, Bruce Springsteen and so many other legends. On top of that, Cantone is the author of his own book – “Book ‘Em; The Man Who Revolutionized Casino Entertainment.” All proceeds from this special evening will go to the “Hurley in the Morning Charity,” which benefits many area charities.
Ticket prices are $200.00 per-person and include a reception hour, an autographed copy of Tom’s book (“Book ‘Em”) and dinner.
