ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (March 26, 2019) Yuirk Mamedov, the now 11-1 (3) fighter out of Brooklyn, NY was victorious this past Saturday evening with a resounding unanimous decision, winning every round on scorecards. Taking place at Showboat Hotel in Atlantic City, NJ, it was Mamedov’s first fight since signing a sponsorship deal with Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment property, Resorts Casino Hotel in Atlantic City.
Sporting a pre-fight boxing robe and fight trunks decked out with Resorts Casino Hotel branding, (click here for image gallery), Mamedov overpowered contender Jordan Rosario across six rounds. The win brings Mamedov’s record to 11-1 with 3 KO’s and also climbs the welterweight inside the top-ten French ratings & in the 200s worldwide for his class, via Boxrec.com.

Born in Russia and who also goes by the ‘Fighting Pride of Yezidi,’ Yurik Mamedov had his professional debut in Boston, MA in 2016 and since that time has sharpened his skills and has become a hard hitting prospect in the welterweight division. Mamedov is likely to fight next sometime this summer.
Mamedov is also the first boxer that Resorts Casino Hotel has sponsored since Morris Bailey took ownership of Resorts.
