THE BEACH BALL DROP
Outside of Resorts Casino Hotel on Friday, May 24th, Memorial Day Weekend gets rocking with WMMR-FM broadcasting live with legendary disc jockey Pierre Robert from 10:00am – 3:00pm. Beginning at 3:00pm, DJ Andrew and Bacardi Artie take the reins to pump up the crowd ahead of 5,000 colorful souvenir beach balls to be dropped from above. The afternoon will also consist of the “Unlocking of the Ocean” ceremony at 1:30pm, various giveaways & contests, interactive entertainment, stilt walkers, photo ops with the beautiful Landshark promo girls and live boardwalk performances by the Fralinger String Band – “The Ultimate in Mummers Entertainment.” Before or after the ball drop, Star Card holders are welcome to stop by the Promotions Both as well, to pick up a mini ice cream cane containter that could contain up to $500 in slot cash!
The legendary performer, Tony Orlando, joins the Memorial Day Weekend fun with a special appearance during the 6th Annual Beach Ball Drop and a not-to-miss concert inside the Superstar Theatre, beginning at 8:00pm on Sunday, May 26th. With promotions starting on May 24th and more joining the mix in the days and weeks that follow, Resorts Casino Hotel is excited to roll-out Hot Summer Fun 2019, lasting through September 2nd, and set to feature a Jeep Wrangler sweepstake, gaming contests, great food & drink specials, incredible entertainment and much more.
Summer Long Promotions
Jeep Wrangler’s are on the wish-list of many and Resorts Casino Hotel is prepared to fulfill that wish for one lucky guest. Star Card holders can earn entries starting May 28th by playing slots and table games. Every single tier point earned equals one entry and star card players can earn 25X, 50X and even 100X entries on select dates throughout summer. One lucky winner will be drawn to drive away in an all-new 2019 Jeep Wrangler Sport on Sunday, August 25th at 4:00pm.
A Hot Summer Fun 1,000,000 High-Low Challenge also takes place daily from May 24th – September 2nd (Noon – Midnight), with a finale on September 21st. Taking place at the boardwalk entrance next to the Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville Gift Shop, players will choose whether a to-be-drawn dealer card will be higher or lower than a card that has already been turned over. If chosen correctly, players move on to the next level on their way to trying to reach level 10, where $1,000,000 is won. Star Card holders can play for free one time daily May 24th – September 2nd. To play a second time, card holders must simply earn five tier points during that gaming day. In addition to the chance to win $1,000,000, card holders will also earn entries into the $50,000 Summer End Sweepstakes on Monday, September 21st.
From July 1st – September 2nd, guests can take a stab at guessing how many total fish are in a container that will be resting in the hotel lobby at Resorts Casino Hotel.
One guess per day is allowed in the “Guessing Game,” which runs from July 1st – September 2nd. Ten players who come the closest to the actual number without going over, will win $500 in slot cash. An exact guess is awarded $1,000 in slot cash!
Hot Summer Fun Days of the Week
Each weekday during Hot Summer Fun at Resorts Casino Hotel brings a different way to win big or score deals & freebies. Plink-it Monday’s allow for lucky guests to have their name called at random every fifteen minutes from 2:00pm – 8:00pm from May 27th – August 26th. Winners will be rewarded with match play and slot cash awards. This promotion takes place in the Margaritaville lobby.
Slot Tournament Tuesday’s bring the action every Tuesday on the casino floor, where players can join an exciting slot tournament that features prizes of up to $250 in Slot Cash. This contest runs Noon – 3:00pm & 6:00pm – 9:00pm, every Tuesday from May 28th – August 27th.

Guests who earn two tier points on Thursdays during Hot Summer Fun are eligible to play Mystery Money Beach Ball Slot Cash at a Resorts’ kiosks. Players will select a beach ball on the screen and when prompted, it will bounce up and reveal how much slot cash they have won.
And Head to Head Blackjack Fridays round-out the week-day promotions with a thrilling competition where players try their hand at defeating the dealer. Hit on a same suit blackjack to immediately take home $100. If a dealer shows blackjack — $200 will be awarded!
