Grammy nominee joins an exciting lineup of events and promotions
ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (Dec . 10, 2019) – There’s no better place to ring in the new year than Resorts Casino Hotel. The historic Atlantic City establishment announced today a variety of special events and promotions taking place on Dec. 31.
The New Year’s Eve festivities at Resorts will be headlined by an exclusive celebration featuring American pop icon Taylor Dayne beginning at 10:30 p.m. in the Superstar Theater. The American Music Award winner and Grammy nominee will kick off 2020 in style by performing a sensational medley of her greatest hits.
Since becoming an international sensation with her debut single “Tell It to My Heart,” Dayne has carved out an impressive career that spans more than three decades and has seen her achieve 17 Top-20 singles and sell more than 75 million albums and singles worldwide. As one of the only performers in history to successfully crossover into nearly every genre with hit singles in Pop, Dance, R&B, Adult Contemporary and Rock, Dayne is considered by Rolling Stone Magazine to be one of the top-20 Female Dance Artists of all time. Tickets to “Taylor Dayne’s New Year’s Eve Party” range from $55 to $75 and can be purchased through Ticketmaster or the Resorts box office.
LandShark Bar & Grill and Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville will also be hosting free New Year’s Eve parties starting at 8 p.m. Enjoy live entertainment and drink specials all night long, as well as a margarita toast at midnight.
Dance the night away at Bar One to the sounds of DJ Clint from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. followed by DJ Gary from 10 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. Bar One will also feature $7 featured cocktails and $5 select wines and glasses of champagne.

New Year’s Eve will also be the last chance to enter the sweepstakes for a 2020 Mercedes Benz GLA. A special 100x multiplier will be available to anyone who uses their Star Card throughout the day. This means that, instead of one entry, guests will receive 100 entries for every tier point they earn on Dec. 31. A winner will be announced on Jan. 1 at 4 p.m.
On January 1, 2020 at 12 p.m., WZXL’s Polar Bear Plunge will take place at Resorts Beach. Morning show duo JoJo and Scotty will broadcast live, emcee the event and spin music. Guests will also have a chance to win prizes for best costume, first in the water, last out of the water and more creative ways to celebrate 2020.
