Join the Atlantic City Polar Bear Club as they plunge into the Atlantic Ocean on New Year’s Day for The 28th Annual Polar Bear Plunge, sponsored by 100.7 WZXL. This is not for the faint of heart – participants dive into the icy ocean in their swimsuits (no wet suits), even if there’s rain, sleet, snow, or hail.
Over the past 28 years, the Atlantic City Polar Bear Plunge has grown to include hundreds of “polar bear club members” from the tristate area dedicated to helping raise more than $100,000 for various local and regional charities. This year, proceeds will benefit the Atlantic City Boys & Girls Club.
WZXL morning show duo JoJo & Scotty will broadcast live from Landshark Bar & grill, the only Polar Bear Plunge location where guests can stay warm while they cheer on those daring enough to dive into the ocean.
