The sound and taste of Italy is coming to AC starting October 8th!
ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (August 19, 2016) – Resorts Casino Hotel is excited to announce Italian Fest, a celebration of Italian culture and traditions with authentic food, wine and drinks, games, and live entertainment! Italian fest will feature a free Bocce Ball tournament and the best tasting meatball contest with fun prizes to win. Other highlights include upscale and authentic Italian handicrafts and artwork such as woodwork, glass, ceramics, yard art, soaps, handbags, clothing, jewelry, seasonal items, baked goods, packaged foods and more, all made by local artists, crafters, and retailers! The event will be held in the Ocean Ballroom on Sunday, October 9th from 11:00am to 5:00pm.

Before you start tasting Italian food, the classically trained tenor from the Manhattan School of Music, Christopher Macchio, who has been wowing audiences all over the world by combining his golden-era sound with an emotional stage presence, is set to perform inside Resorts’ Superstar Theater on Saturday, October 8th. Performing classical arias in Italian, French, English and German, Christopher’s facility with languages along with a vocal and stylistic range resonates with people of all ages and backgrounds.
From extensive media exposure, his new bi-lingual Italian-English radio show Cosmopolita on 88.7FM WRHU New York, numerous appearances on network television, including live performances at the annual Columbus Day Parade on ABC-TV, NBC-TV, and culminating in his PBS Television special Bell’Aria: Live from Las Vegas, Christopher Macchio has become a notable gifted performer. His continued success as a thrilling music act has brought him to a new level as the newest member of The New York Tenors, joining Irish Tenor Andy Cooney and American Tenor Daniel Rodriguez in sold out appearances across the U.S. Bringing his spine-tingling performances to Resorts’ Superstar Theater, show time is 8:00pm and ticket prices are $25.00 and $35.00.
