ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (November 18, 2015) – “Swing Into Christmas” at Resorts Casino Hotel on Friday, December 4th, and enjoy a festive evening of holiday merriment featuring music, comedy and magic benefitting the United States Marine Corps Reserve’s Toys For Tots program.
Sponsored by The Irish Pub of Atlantic City, this 2nd annual “Swing Into Christmas” celebration is free to attend with the donation of a new, unwrapped toy to the Toys For Tots program the evening of the event. Toys will be distributed to local families in need this holiday season.
All ages are welcome to attend this family-friendly holiday show. Doors to the Screening Room will open at 7:00pm and the show begins at 8:00pm. A cash bar will be available from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.
International award-winning magician Joe Holiday serves as the evening’s emcee, and will delight the crowd with his outstanding feats of magic and laugh-out-loud comedy. Jim “The Singing Lifeguard” Craine, the organizer of this spectacular event, and the Atlantic City All Star Band, will spread holiday cheer by performing the season’s greatest Christmas classics. The evening continues with local singer and performer Becky Orsatti serenading the crowd with her favorite holiday ballads, and The Dance Forum South performing a high-energy holiday dance routine to round out the festivities. Other local celebrities bringing their musical talents to the stage on this special night of holiday spirit and tradition include Philadelphia TV legend Jane Norman, widely-known as Pixanne, local singing star Suzie Neustadter and other special guests.
After the event, all attendees are invited to a festive after-party at The Irish Pub of Atlantic City.
Event organizer Jim Craine has gathered together this star-studded local cast, all of whom are donating their time to bring this event to Atlantic City for the second time. “I have always been a huge fan of the Christmas holiday and am dedicated to making this the best holiday celebration in Atlantic City,” said Craine. “All toys donated at this event will go to local children in need,” Craine continued, “and our goal is to ensure that no child in Atlantic City is without a gift this Christmas.”
